Prevention & Outreach

BSSS SAATH actively works toward creating a mentally healthy campus through preventive and outreach initiatives. These activities focus on reducing stigma, promoting mental health awareness, and encouraging timely help-seeking among students.

Through regular campus engagement, SAATH aims to normalize conversations around mental health and empower students with knowledge and emotional preparedness.

  • Mental health awareness campaigns on stress, anxiety, depression, and well-being
  • Orientation programs for freshers and new entrants to ease college transition
  • Psychoeducation sessions on emotional health, adjustment, and coping strategies

Workshops & Skill-Building Programs

Skill-based interventions form a core component of SAATH’s functioning. These programs equip students with practical psychological tools to manage academic pressure, emotional challenges, and interpersonal demands effectively.

Workshops are interactive, experiential, and development-oriented, focusing on strengthening coping skills, emotional intelligence, and overall resilience.
